Temporary housing in Madrid and Valencia: options and lead times

Most relocating employees need somewhere to stay for the first weeks while the permanent home is found. Choosing well avoids hotel costs and gives the family a calmer start.

Lead times. In Madrid and Valencia, central family apartments book up quickly, especially in September, around big trade fairs and in summer. Book as soon as the arrival date is fixed.

What to check. Location close to the office or the chosen school, enough bedrooms, a working space, parking if needed, cancellation terms and that the property has the registration required for short and mid-term rentals.

Budget. Temporary housing is usually the most volatile cost in a relocation. We give HR a range per city and family size before the move.

How we help. We shortlist options within policy, book them, organise check-in and extend the stay if the permanent home needs more time.
